Because what is a Ghibli appreciation event without Studio Ghibli film classics? During this two-day event at Street Kohi Mayaman in Quezon City, there will be a film viewing of popular Studio Ghibli titles that will start around 3 p.m. until around 11 p.m. The movie lineup for both days includes My Neighbor Totoro that's scheduled at 3 p.m., Kiki's Delivery Service at 4:30 p.m., Princess Mononoke at 5:30 p.m., The Wind Rises at 6:30 p.m., Spirited Away at 7:30 p.m., and Howl's Moving Castle at 8:30 p.m.

While watching these Studio Ghibli films, you can order Ghibli-inspired eats and drinks. From Street Kohi, you can try their No Face Cold Brew, Calcifer's Drink, Princess Mononoke Matcha Latte, Totoro Drink, Howl's Heart, and Nanay ni Chihiro. For the food, there will be a Calcifer-inspired pancake meal, cookies designed after Totoro, and more noms you'll want to post on your socials because they'll for sure be Instagrammable.

Before you head home, make sure to pass by the flea market for Studio Ghibli-inspired merchandise that you can add to your growing collection. Street Kohi will be selling limited-edition tufted coasters designed after Ghibli characters such as Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro, Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service, No Face from Spirited Away, Turnip Head from Howl's Moving Castle, among others.

According to Gio Aragon, the organizer of the event and a longtime fan of the Ghibli films, the Ghibli Fest event was inspired by his trip to the Ghibli Museum and Ghibli Park in Japan. "It gave me the idea to cater a Ghibli festival here in the Philippines since our café [Street Kohi] is known for its Ghibli-themed café, community works, and interior designs," he shares with SPOT.ph.

The Ghibli Fest will be on April 20 and 21 at Street Kohi Mayaman, 24 Mayaman Street, corner Manigo, Quezon City. For more information, check out Street Kohi's Instagram page.
